Mrs. Kasa our Tech Coach shared her Finchbots with our 2nd graders today! The Finch is a small robot designed to engage students in computational thinking and computer science.
Burnham Elementary School will be closed tomorrow, January 16, 2024, due to the severe weather conditions and the closure of surrounding school districts.
FYI: Due to the weather expected next week, the decision has been made to postpone next Tuesday's PTO meeting. Stay tuned for a new date. 😊

We would like to inform you that Burnham Elementary School will be closed tomorrow, January 12, 2024, due to the anticipated snowfall and the closure of surrounding school districts. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and this decision has been made in consideration of the potential hazards associated with inclement weather.
Please be advised that tomorrow will be declared a snow day, and there will be no remote learning. The missed instructional day will be made up at the end of the school year to ensure that students receive the full educational experience.

Burnham's technology coach, Mrs. Kasa, brought Finch Robots for students to explore. Finch Robots allow students to learn coding at various levels, work collaboratively, and engage in critical thinking/problem solving. Ms. Bozzetti's 4th grade class worked with the Finch Robots today.
