Burnham Elementary School is incredibly proud to announce that our very own 6th-grade teacher, Ann Porras, has been honored by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) at the 52nd Annual Those Who Excel & Teacher of the Year Awards Banquet.
Ms. Porras received the Meritorious Service Award for Early Career Educators, a distinction that highlights her exceptional impact, energy, and commitment to her students during her first years in the profession.
