Notice is hereby given that the Burnham Elementary School District 154.5 School Board will hold an Emergency Meeting on:

Date: Thursday, January 29, 2026

Time: 7 pm

Location: Burnham Elementary School

Nature of the Emergency

This Emergency Meeting is being called due to the discovery of a time-sensitive grant submission deadline that requires immediate Board action and could not be reasonably delayed without risking the District’s eligibility for funding.

Purpose of the Meeting

The purpose of this Emergency Meeting is to consider and take possible action on:

Approval of the 2026 School Maintenance Project Grant, administered by the Illinois State Board of Education, which is due January 30, 2026.

This Emergency Meeting is called in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act, which permits meetings without the standard 48-hour notice when immediate action is required. Notice has been provided as soon as practicable.
