Job Posting: Part-Time Summer Custodian

Position: Summer Custodian (Part-Time)
Location: Burnham Elementary School 
Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week (Monday–Thursday, 6 am - 1 pm) 
Pay Rate: Minimum wage
Dates of Employment: June 23 - August 14, 2025 

Job Summary:
Burnham Elementary School is seeking responsible and hardworking individuals for part-time summer custodian positions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain work experience in a supportive environment while helping maintain clean and safe facilities for our school community.

Responsibilities include:

• General cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas

• Floor care (sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming)

• Emptying trash and recycling bins

• Assisting with basic maintenance or setup tasks as needed

• Reporting any safety or maintenance concerns to the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 25 lbs

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions

• Previous custodial experience is a plus, but not required
