Dear Burnham Families,

As summer break approaches, we understand that many students have experienced incomplete learning this year due to excessive absences or from catching up academically from the pandemic and other factors. To help your child get back on track, we are excited to offer a Summer Boost program for our current 2nd - 7th-grade students.

From July 10th to July 27th, we will hold sessions from Monday - Thursday, from 9 am - 11:30 am, focusing on math and reading. Our aim is to provide a jump start toward next year's academic curriculum.  Students will receive an hour of Reading and an hour of Math to help them improve, gain any missed skills, and prepare for the new school year. Students will be provided with a morning breakfast and an outdoor break at 10 am.

All students are welcome to participate, and recommendations will be sent home for those who may benefit from this program. 
Students that have been chronically truant this past year will be required to attend. We encourage you to consider this opportunity for your child, as we want to ensure that they are fully prepared for the upcoming school year. Please call the school office at (708) 862-8636 and inform Mrs. Gonzalez that you would like your child to attend and register for our Summer Boost Program.
