Mrs. W. White - Teacher

My name is Wendy White. I am  excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher. This is my 32nd year at Burnham School. I have a personal connection with Burnham School. I not only teach here, but I also grew up in Burnham where I went to Burnham School. It is a wonderful school that has many caring and special staff members and students. I am very fortunate to be part of the Burnham Family.

A few things about me personally are that I received my bachelor’s degree from Purdue. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling,  photography, and watching my daughter golf. I am married and have three beautiful children. Kyle lives in Miami and is going to medical school.  Brent is a finance manager at Kia.  Kailey is attending Western Michigan University on a golf scholarship. I consider myself very lucky to have such a wonderful family.

My students are a very important part of my life. It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and adventure. I hope this school year will be a memorable one for your child. It is my goal to give my students the skills they need to be successful 2nd graders.
