Ms. Lippert  - Teacher

My name is Wendy Lippert and I am the first grade teacher at Burnham School. I began my career here in 2008 and spent five years teaching third grade. I jumped at the chance to move to first grade and have loved working at this grade level ever since.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University. I received my Master's degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of St. Francis along with an ESL endorsement.

My ultimate goal as your child’s teacher is to make learning engaging, fun and purposeful. I know that each child is a unique learner and I will do everything I can to help your child succeed. I always tell my class that we don’t have a minute to waste while we are at school. There is always something to do, and more importantly, always something to learn.
